Visalia, CaliforniaI enrolled in Dr. Righellis’ mini-residency because I wanted to expand my knowledge and confidence about a variety of clinical subjects. Dr. Righellis emphasizes the solid principles of the Roth-Williams discipline, and incorporates his forty-five years of clinical experience into his program. This vast amount of knowledge allows him to train orthodontists to attain excellent and stable results. Dr. Righellis offers a one-of-a-kind program which starts with a busy morning of observing and interacting with him and his staff. He sees a full slate of patients, including new patient exams and case presentations. He has an uncanny ability to communicate effectively with patients and parents and explains complex clinical problems and procedures in simple language that everyone understands. I picked up several pearls here. This part is followed by a day and a half of well-organized slide presentations of topics which include mixed dentition treatment, managing and treating impactions, Class II and Class III treatment, reviewing simple mechanics and many other topics. Having known Dr. Righellis since my residency, I can assure you that the material is evidence and experienced based. For me, this mini-residency allowed me to become a more skilled and confident practitioner and energized me as well.

Indianapolis, IndianaThe Straty Righellis’ residency program has been one of the most significant continuing education programs I have taken in my career as an orthodontist. It has allowed me to reinforce and understand to a higher level the FACE philosophy. The clinical and the didactic sessions were full of excellent information, I became much more confident in my diagnostic abilities, VTO and treatment planning, interdisciplinary management of complex cases, and my ability to obtain superior results in my orthodontic cases. Dr. Righellis has a strong passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge with his peers. I strongly recommend this course to all orthodontists looking to bring their clinical standards to a much higher level and have more satisfaction and enjoyment in their private practices.

San Francisco, CaliforniaThe Mini-Residency Program was an eye-opening course that has positively altered my career. The principles discussed by Dr. Righellis in philosophy, diagnosis, and treatment planning using a goal-directed approach with the FACE philosophy not only improve efficiency and results, but it also helps me sleep at night. The experience in Dr. Righellis’ office, along with being exposed to his office protocols, provides the much needed tools to implement the philosophy. I am able to explain treatment options to patients with ease, more predictability, and with better results than before. It is gratifying to know that I can better provide each patient with the highest quality of comprehensive options to make their decisions on orthodontic treatment. I highly recommend this program to orthodontists looking to make themselves and their practices stand out in their communities.

Suffolk, VirginiaTaking the FACE Course is a great first step in practicing the FACE philosophy but the opportunity to have one-on-one direct mentorship from the faculty allowed me to really incorporate FACE into my everyday practice clinically. This is the additional step needed to go from learning through lectures to learning through experience. The 3 phases of the Mini-Residency were exactly what I needed. At our first meeting, Dr. Righellis and I identified the areas of my knowledge and skills that needed additional coaching. The second phase, visiting Dr. Righellis’ Office, showed the philosophy LIVE in action. Taking photos, making notes and receiving his office materials can be brought to my office for ready use. He also prepared wonderful lectures that we reviewed the following day which helped tremendously. I was able to ask all of my questions and have them answered so graciously. He helped me tie together so many loose ends. I then developed comprehensive list of implementations which Dr. Righellis and I have met regularly to discuss my progress and trouble shoot my roadblocks. The mini-Residency has advanced my clinical knowledge and skills beyond where I ever thought I could be.

Dublin, IrelandI had the pleasure of spending two days at Dr. Righellis’ practice. The experience was one which energized me and enthused me. I could see, that with appropriate training and templates, one could run a hugely successful practice with a simply wonderful quality of care and extremely high patient-related outcome measures. It was also humbling to see the disparity at which one is at in comparison. I strongly suggest to anybody who is interested in becoming a better operator to take the course. Dr. Righellis’ passion for his profession is abundantly clear and will wash off on you. His drive for perfection and his generosity are quite staggering.

Auburn, CaliforniaAs a former UCSF resident and FACE program participant under Dr. Righellis, I completed my Angle Society thesis collecting data measuring quality of treatment results from consecutively treated cases and correlating them with on-time finishes out of his private practice. Dr. Righellis is the consummate, orthodontist’s orthodontist who can actually walk the walk. Not only does he consistently and predictably produce Board quality finishes but completes their treatments typically on-time all within a large private practice. This coupled with his business acumen for creating and sustaining a large private practice positions him in the category of elite orthodontists. With his new teaching institute, he is sharing his methods for differentiating oneself in all areas of orthodontic practice. Anyone interested in committing to future-proofing their practice while simultaneously taking it to the next level should seriously consider this unique learning opportunity. Dr. Righellis is meticulous in his attention to detail and treats his students with respect; partnering with them to reach their goals.
